Week 7 finished - never thought I'd say that in week 1!

We had a very late night so slept till late for us. That meant there were people dogwalking who obviously get up late too. One of them is an acquaintance (goes to the same church) who couldn't quite believe what was happening as first notpheidippides then I ran towards him. His face was a treat :-) I gasped "can't stop doing a course. Tell you at the weekend" as I zoomed (I wish) past him. Next circuit we met again. "How many times are you going round" he asked. For 25 minutes I told him and he was impressed :-) He's retired though a little younger than me.

It had been quite tough till I met him but then after the first encounter I remembered Laura telling me I was a runner and plodded along more happily. I ran further too. I got past the two children's playgrounds and almost as far as the wild flower meadow which is the furthest I've ever reached.

You're almost there! WELL DONE! Had to laugh at the 25 minute explanation! Once I am out I prefer not to have to break my momentum. It takes me a while to fall into a rhythm and I like to keep it going. I can't imagine ever getting to the end of these pod-casts, only time will tell. I am slowly beginning to enjoy it though. I'm doing S&F in parallel and got some really funny stares from an old codger walking his dog in the park this morning. I suppose the 'imagine you are hugging a tree' stance must look a tad odd!

Gosh I didn't stop to speak - just breathlessly said the minimum. I'd never have started running again if I had! No I can't imagine the end of the podcasts either because I don't know how I'll run without Laura encouraging me.

Well done on your run, and there is always Laura's C25K+ to look forward to! Stamina gets me through my 5k/Parkruns! :-)

Sounds good! I agree about S&F! I did try some of the 'tree' moves using a bit of the children's playground equipment, but was worried I'd get told off by someone! The best place was a bird-hide - behind a screen, and I was pretty sure I could hear whether anyone was getting close - though if they'd sneaked up, I suppose they could have had a bit of a shock!

Bravo! Feels great, doesn't it? I just love these podcasts - they truly changed my life in such a positive way! You'll see when you'll eventually get to run 30' - the ultimate victory... Before moving on to another battle! Lol. Good luck! :-)
