Yes we have/are! It's brilliant. I've lost three and a half stones in the last year following it and doing some exercise as well.

I do it periodically. My body gets wise to my attempts to lose weight, so I do it some weeks, calorie count the others. I've decided that weight loss is fairly arbitrary for me. I always know if I am going to gain weight (no surprises) but some weeks I'll try hard and not lose much, other weeks I lose more, but not always sure why. I don't eat rubbish on the non-fast days, and I can't quite manage the low calories if I'm working, so I'll restrict it to 700, which is still just about what you use if you stay in bed all day :)

As long as I keep busy at the times when I snack, and have something pre-prepared for the kids so I'm not tempted in the kitchen it works well.

Try it & see I guess :) Science behind it makes a lot of sense to me, even though there's not much body of evidence yet.

have lost 6 pounds in 5 weeks doing this. am also exercising on the "repair/fast" day & still run anything up to 6.5miles as I figure that it is just the same as running without breakfast, as I would have eaten normally the day before. I dont run or exercise the day after a fast day. running in the morning then the shower etc after takes up alot of the morning & Im not normally hungry straight after a run anyway, which means I would only have to wait around 5 hours to eat. I save my calories for my evening meal & allow about 120 for my cups of tea through the day. make sure you keep hydrated through the day or you may get headaches. info just in case you are worried that you would have to reschedule runs to fit in with the low calorie days. x

I've been doing it since the end of January and I've lost 15.5lbs. Really enjoy and find it easier than any other diet I've done.

People I know have tried the diet and been very positive about it. I have tried the diet and find it hard to do on more than one day per week. I found myself feeling deprived and then wanting to overeat on the other days which is supposed to not happen.

The 2 Day Diet is protein-rich and low-carb on the two restricted/fast days and that works better for me. I have also found that cutting out or down on bread and starchy carbs seems to work better for me in general. I think people's bodies work in different ways. This week I did one fast day and next week I will aim for two but if I only manage one I think that is ok for me. I think the key is to be accepting- at least that is what I am aiming for after years of yo-yo dieting.

I have run on both the fast and non-fast days and didn't really find any difference.

I have also stopped weighing myself and am using my clothes as a guide. My jeans are getting baggier so something must be changing.
