I've just finished W1R3 and am really grumpy! Having started the week off so positively I'm really down - anyone else felt like this?

Oh no, don't be grumpy, you've done w1 that's a great achievement, perhaps you are just tired, you've made a great start on a programme that really works, I was down in the first week thinking I'd never be able to do it but as everyone says, trust in the programme and youll get there, Ally x

Do you do this with anyone? If not perhaps you could ask around to see if anyone wants to do it with you.

My friend had already done it for one week and then asked me to start doing it with her. I find we keep each other motivated, reminding ourselves on how far we have come and how well we have done. It helps me when I am feeling tired or down. x

I really felt bad when I struggled doing week 1 as I thought it would be super easy. How wrong was I! Years of inactivity really made me a pretty lame couch potato and even poor 30" runs were already quite hard but you know what? You've been through these workouts - be proud of yourself! Each run will help you build stamina and you'll be able to run a full 30' workout in a few weeks! Trust the program, don't push too hard on yourself and enjoy the runs and your increasing progress! Hope you'll get the bug like a lot of us did. Good luck!

Thanks people! I just didn't get the happy buzz yesterday must have been because the weather was pants!!! Week 2 starts tomorrow - I'm not going to give up as I've been challenged to run a marathon next year! Positive thoughts all round.
