Have you actually run your concerns past a doctor?. Any potential blood loss needs explaining, because there's a risk of missing a potential condition if you leave this. If you'd be in UK, you dont pay for colonoscopy or other tests on NHS. Regardless, are you honestly prepared to leave this in exchange for stress and uncertainty?

I live in America. A colonoscopy is $4,800 USD. I can not afford it even if I wanted. I went to the doctor and they confirmed I have hemorrhoids and they would never fully go away. But I’m still scared something else is wrong with me…. Because I can’t afford a colonoscopy…

Hi Martin,

Where in the US are you? Please check out this site for assistance in getting a colonoscopy. You still need to the symptoms checked out by a doctor and then move on to the colonoscopy.

Yes! I just used Colonoscopyassist to get my colonoscopy in the US because I am on a short term insurance plan and it wouldn’t have been covered. I did an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Both were $2,300 combined, but the colonoscopy was $1,500 by itself. This included everything for me, a consult with a GI, the procedures, facility fees, anesthesia, lab fees (pathology) and a follow up. It was a really seamless experience and I got everything done before the appointment I had made with the GI back in February!

They removed one precancerous polyp so I definitely don’t regret the money I spent to have it done!

Hope this helps.
