Hi Danielll,

It is great that you’re getting a colonoscopy. That’ll be the best way to get you some good answers and hopefully eliminate your pain and get you on a path to being well.

When is your colonoscopy scheduled for? I see that what you’re taking is a means to clearing out the bowel in preparation for a colonoscopy. You should have been given some instructions on the amount of fluids to be taking as well. Water is usually recommended but you are allowed to have things like lime Gatorade. That could be beneficial as well. Just need to avoid anything red or purple.

This whole process should be leading you to have a cleared out colon. It should involve going to the bathroom a lot. In the later stages your stool should be a liquid that is on the clear side. It may be a brownish clear or yellowish clear. It all depends on the fluid you were drinking. I usually go for the lime Gatorade as it has electrolytes as well. So, you should be pooping out nothing but liquid before your colonoscopy. Then you'll know you’ve done the proper job.

Again, let us know when you’re colonoscopy is scheduled.👍

Thanks,

Tom

Oh dear, that doesn’t sound great but, and it’s a big but, it’s not critical. I’m glad it isn’t the worst case scenario for you. Thank god for that. At least with your result it’s something to work with. Yeh, I’m not surprised they said about a change of diet. You just gotta work out what foods irritate you and what foods don’t by doing a food diary. It’s really good you’ve done the colonoscopy. You know exactly what is wrong now.

Helloo thankyou cuz ur still intact with me, I'm thankful and feel relieved at the same time, before my procedure I'm always thinking it might be a cancer and I'm wrong hahaha, before I got these symptom like way back last year, I always eat meat, fried, processed food, I rarely eat green foods like veg, maybe right now I'm more careful of my diet, as of now I don't feel any pain, it's just so challenging taking the preparation before colonoscopy, my Gii prescribe some medicine good for 1week,

that’s good yes. Afraid you will need to stay away from the fried and processed food most of the time. You can have it as a treat if your body can handle it. I’d stay away for a few months just to help your body heal. Good luck. Find some foods you can enjoy instead of the fried, junk food. Have a try off of all vegetables, fruit, nuts etc. see what you like.

we’ll, I’m not medically trained though. I don’t have any real medical knowledge. Just basic when it comes to the bowels and the foods we eat. I’ve learnt that from experience. I won’t be able to tell you or, explain your result very well.
