Out of remission.

After 16 years I had a lymph node appear 2 weeks ago. So I made an appointment with my Doctor this morning. My white blood is going up. I'm not surprised but I was hoping for another pass. 4 months ago I got very sick I thought it was COVID because it lasted 10 days and then gone. Now I think that it was my Cll coming back. I'm back on monthly blood work . Hope and pray for all with this condition . 🙏👆

I’m sorry to hear you have this worry Cocobuff. You’ve had a long remission after BR 16 yrs ago and I can imagine you’d begun to wonder if CLL would ever raise its ugly head again. Let’s hope the elevated WBC has other explanations. If not, there’s now an amazing range of treatments available and if you need treatment again, I hope it can be knocked back as successfully as last time.

Psychologically, CLL is hard on W&W the sequel and I know the impact of wondering if the next labs will show ‘slippage’ or if that little node is anything to worry about.

Sending you best wishes and please keep us updated.

This is not the holiday gift you were hoping for! I am glad you are being monitored so carefully. Take care and know that we’re here, ready to listen.

Hi, Sorry to read this. As has been said previously the range of treatments available now is now larger and the information on CLL more available. I hope it's ok 🙏Gary

Hi everyone, yesterday was a bit of a shock. Then later in the day My nurse at the cancer institute called me and said they want to see me today and give me another blood test and transfusions for high calcium levels. I'm trying to adjust. Also trying not to stress to much. Thank you everyone. 🙏👆

So sorry to hear this. Hopefully it will be a fluke! But as Newdawn says, there are many new agents out there. Try not to worry too much.
