Hi everyone, would anyone know in this knowledge site know how often you have the Shinrex vaccine? Is it for life or does it last a few years.

I believe the Shingrix vaccine is good for up to 10 years.

Shingrix has only been available for a few years and for most of that time supply has been extremely limited, so we don't yet know. Some CLL specialists still prescribe an antiviral to CLL patients after they have had their two Shingrix vaccinations, because the amount of protection provided from vaccination is uncertain.

I took my two Shingrix shots and nothing was ever mentioned about ever needing it again. I hope it’s for life because those two shots knocked me on my rear for about 24 hours after.
