I’ve been on Calquence for roughly 5 months. It’s worked great so far. My labs look great, but they were never that off since I have the SLL version of the disease. However, a week ago my bilirubin was flagged high at 1.3. My doctor said he’s not too concerned and just wants to keep monitoring it. It had been been that high once about two years ago (before I had been on treatment) but it came back down.
anyone had elevated bilirubin before with SLL, either before or during treatment. Any idea if this could be related to the disease or the Calquence medication?

Hi Tofa. Regarding your Bilirubin result, I am not sure what the results show for you as the results show mine as between H27 and H37. Possibly we are in different countries and results differ. However mine fluctuate just for the bilirubin part of the liver test and all other parts are normal. I have been tested for this and I have what is called Gilberts Syndrome it is a DNA test that confirmed this. This doesn't mean you may have this as there can be other reasons. I have also been told by my CLL consultant that the bilirubin results and Gilberts Syndrome are not an issue. I have no other signs or symptoms of high bilirubin other than what it shows on my blood test. I hope this is useful and I suggest there is nothing to worry about.
