Interested in knowing if any CLL patients taking Calquence have developed neck cancer

All CLL patients irrespective of what medications they take have higher risk of secondary cancers. I have read nothing about neck cancer on these sites so far.

I’m have had 6 squamous cell carcinomas on my face and 1 on my arm plus 1 melanoma on my neck all of which came after FCR (chemo immuno therapy

The theories are its due to poor T cell function caused by CLL and made worse by the FCR.

What kind of neck cancer due you have?

Thanks for responding and I am sorry to hear. I am mostly concerned about larinx cancer at this point. I go to see a dermatologist every three months and so far so good. Targeted therapy does wonders indeed. Atrial fibrilation is my main concern as I have a healthy ticker. I have been experiencing intense throat pain on and off -no signs of strep- for a while now. If it continues I will need to have it checked. Thus the query.

I’m not sure about the throat area.

If it’s not COVID I’d suggest seeing an ENT doc as CLL patients are at higher risk for any type of cancer.
