Wonder if anyone knows when we will be able to get antibody injection, or when there will be a proposed date announcement in the USA

Talked to my hospital yesterday, they said 2 to 3 weeks before they get it and transplant and current chemo patients were first in line.

Thanks for the info John. Kinda of strange though, transplant patients typically have a better vaccine response compared to those on certain medications that are not chemo therapy.

Could be a changing situation, determining who will be given the first injections.

I asked my specialist at MDAnderson and the response was that they would give out their allotted doses on a case by case basis. I assume that means the most needy patients will get the highest priority.

Which Antibody Injection are you referring to? I just had the Monoclonal Antibody Infusion at a local hospital, after exposure to a child who is Covid Positive and ill with it. I know that there are Monoclonal Antibody injections available at twenty six sites in Florida through CD MgGuire Corporation, so perhaps that is what you are referring to. I'm just curious if you know about these two things, but you are referring to some other new injection.

AstraZeneca intramuscular antibody injection that last up to 6 months. Given to people who did not respond to the vaccine. Known as prep, pre exposure. Definitely not what you are describing in Florida. Kind of a game changer for the immune suppressed. You could look up Evusheld
