I am "wait & watch" for CLL. Told by my 1st oncologist that I can't eat anything with milk fats as they make cancer grow. Is this true? Are there other foods I should avoid?

While CLL cells gain their energy from lipids (fatty, oily compounds) rather than glucose, I've never heard of any evidence for avoiding milk fats, or other fats for that matter. It's important with CLL to have a healthy diet, which of necessity includes fats/oils.

Nope..my hematologist said to enjoy.I was on W&W 12 years. My bad eating habits never effected it.
Not suggesting anyone follow my food choices but it didn't matter. I felt great all 12 years. Don't punish yourself. We have enough stress. 🙂💕
