Had my first dose of Shingrix vaccine yesterday. No swollen lymph gland underarm yet, hurrah, only sore area around vaccine site. If it wasn't for this site, would have not known about the existence and availability of this important vaccine, THANK YOU! 🙏👏

That’s good news. I’m due my second part next week. Unfortunately I had a serious bout of shingles before Shingrix became available on the NHS.

I've had two bouts of Shingles, very unpleasant, one with rash around the head, never had such a painful headache before. So glad a suitable vaccine is now available. Hope your second part goes smoothly with no after effects 🌹

So pleased you have no side affects apart from a sore arm. I go for my 1st Shinrex Vaccine in 2 weeks time. I only found out about it from this site. So grateful for all the knowledgeable people on this site .

My first is booked for Tuesday but suspect I have yet another UTI so by then will probably be on antibiotics which may stop me having it (had the same situation when I was due to flu vaccine and GP suggested I moved the appointment until I had finished the course).
