Starting Ultra V in a couple days

Hi, still learning my way around this site, and this disease. CLL has taken its toll on a lot of us. I’m 68, retired and dx 5 years ago. I go to a specialist in Philly and have just completed all my screening diagnostics for the 3rd phase of the Ultra V clinical trial. BMB showed 96% cellularity. I will be randomized any day now so I will find out which arm I will get. Cycle 1 begins on Monday 10-4-21. I am anxious, looking forward to feeling better soon, and worried how I’ll feel. Picking up some tips here and I thank you for all your sharing

Unfortunately I flunked out almost immediately. Within 2 hours of starting the drip, stopping and repeating I could not breathe, became delirious, drunk like, throwing up, and went into TLS ended up in hospital for 5 days with drug induced acute liver injury. Home a few days now and don’t know whats next. Just healing for now, taking a break!
