Not the 1% I really want to be in but good it's being prioritised. I wonder how long it will take before it's offered. It's not possible to make herd immunity by vaccine alone, we are all going to have to face covid it seems, or shield for sometime until prevalence is low. There have been discussions about testing, how long will it be maintained. Once that ends the prevalence will be hard for anyone to work out, will statistics be provided for hospitalisation or even deaths as time goes by, I suspect not. It's Hobsons choice for many.

I wonder for the 1% (or 3% in US) why just stop at one extra jab versus the full 2 dose jabs as a booster? I wonder if any studies had been done to look at the 1% ers (or 3%ers) and find out what works best for us?

Just wondering … as I know I took the full 2 jabs set as a booster n …. it worked. Maybe luck, but just saying what would would give the best potential result, 1 or a full set 2 jabs booster? Is there any data besides a few rogue soles?

“We” are not like “the masses”, we are a special group. Special cases may mean looking “outside the box” n respecting that a 1 shot booster “size fits all” idea just maybe is not the best call for CLLers?

Just saying.

Wish researchers would do more for us on this critical topic.

It's amazing how long this decision took, and still no decision on the elderly. They managed to work at breakneck speed to get vaccines approved, now they have gone back to the office it would seem we are back to slow bureaucracy. Shame decisions on new drugs, NISE approvals and vaccines take far too long, and many die not being able to get access to drugs that could have made a huge difference to their life expectations.

87, CLL Rai 4. My hematologist encouraged me to get Pfizer 3. I got Pfizer 3. No real adverse reaction, just like after preceding two Pfizer.
