Take Pred Dose before or after monoclonal antibody infusion? It is tomorrow am!

Hi,

Anyone know if I should take my dose before - it seems it might cut efficacy - that is what probably happens with the vaccine sometimes. But I made antibodies but now tested positive 6 months after vaccines with Moderna. Or do I take my prednisone after the infusion? I am trying to get drs to answer the question but no one has answered!!

I feel afraid to skip - my dose is now 2.25 doing the very slow reduction - but also afraid it will reduce the infusion. I have no real symptoms now - tired, - only had the test so I could go to Canada!

I’m no MD, but if it was me I would take it before. It is minuscule dose, plus you have been on it for a while, plus sometimes much more powerful IV pred is given as pre Med. But of course, always best to ask your Doctor.
