I've posted here before when I first found out about my dad's CLL diagnosis and everyone has been so kind in providing their personal experiences. I am hoping to get some feedback as to what my dad can expect going forward in terms of follow ups and being monitored. He was told he'll have an appt in 3 months time for bloodwork. He is being followed by an Internal medicine/Hematology specialists here in Ontario Canada. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do read the posts Len has indicated🙂! There is a lot to learn, but probably plenty of time to absorb it, much of it as you go along. The first visit to the haematologist will give you some indication of what to expect, but will probably leave you with a lot of questions, too.I know it feels strange to have this diagnosis and then be told to watch and wait, (known often as watch and worry!) when we are used to diving straight in with methods to get better, but think of this as a condition we live with and manage. For the time being just encourage him to eat healthily and get plenty of exercise.
