How much did your ALC drop and did the nodes change?

Yes, last year 2 dental infections in the pulp were diagnosed on dental Xray and teeth removed , with antibiotic cover for two weeks. My ALC's had been around 207 the 12 months beforehand despite Ibrutinib , but plummeted to 4.2. (WBC 10.5) after treatment and/ or antibiotic.. Since then counts yoyoing around but at about ALC 8.5 average. I think there is another suspect tooth to be assessed. 😒

Hi Stevelms,-

You may want to track the components of WBC separately. Usually ANC/ Neut# are the largest portion of a normal WBC, and they bounce wildly with infections. We CLL patients learn much more about the behaviour of our disease if we track the ALC/ Lymph#. So watching them separately provides many clues to the cause of a change.
