Taurine ? Taurine for "us" ?
I am assuming you are talking of added taurine that is in energy drinks. Here is a description of the natural means of maintaining this particular protein through our food choices.
It also gives you the uses our body makes of taurine and the caution of what the energy drinks may have ALSO ADDED that can be harmful.
Always, moderation within healthy limits is good for humans. Any extremes or uses of substances that can be harmful because of any of our co-morbidities is not healthy for us.
The subject of taurine as an added protein to energy drinks was new to me, so thank you for the question. And, it is always good practice to consult your Dr. before any supplementation.

Thank you! I had noticed this article which limits to look at taurine in "energy drinks" (which should be avoided for many reasons). Let's see what other replies will produce. I will ask my hematologist next week. He approved, after I asked, both "unpasteurized organic apple cider vinegar" and CoQ10, which I had noticed favorably mentioned in Mayo Clinic literature. In my case both seemed to have lowered blood pressure by 5 to 10 points. Thus, one has to keep looking for developments that could contribute to health maintenance.
Hello janvog
I was advised that not to take CoQ10 which is a anti-oxidant during CLL B+R treatment, this was true of any anti-oxidants.
