That is a rocky path you are treading. I trust Covid is not impeding your progress to treatment!

I am wondering how we may best support you.

Very best wishes, and please do keep in touch.

Thanks for your kind comments. Apart from increased frequency of attend the covid hotspot hospitals there are less people about and I've been seen by many professionals rather swiftly. For now just nattering.

That's certainly unfair for one person to get so many serious conditions. What do they say your treatment options are apart from radio therapy? Are you in pain and can it be managed if so?

Meic13 profile image
Meic13 in reply to LeoPa

Radiotherapy is the treatment option. 75% recovery rate. Thanks for your kind words.

Oh Meic, I do wish you all the best for the coming! It seems a lot to handle. Hard to imagine. Your note made my own bumps seem a little less this morning. 🙏❤️❄️

Have they removed the SCC.My position is not quite so complicated as yours. I had a neck dissection 6 weeks ago where my parotid gland and lymph nodes in my neck had SCC . Nodes and parotid gland removed as well as damage to facial nerve and loss of accessory nerve.

My 6 weeks of RT starts Wednesday after a delay waiting for my mouth to heal after teeth extraction.

Feel free to message me if I can answer any questions from my own experience so far.
