Started calquence 1/22/2021 am and felt fine first day. When do side effects (if any) usually start?

I never had side effects on it but my recollection from others is that for the first several weeks some people get headaches. If you do try a little extra caffeine. Keep yourself well hydrated. I found it to be a very easy drug to take. Best to you

NSAIDs should not be used to reduce pain, including headaches, or to reduce a high temperature, particularly if you are neutropenic or at risk of becoming neutropenic. Take Tylenol, also sold as Paracetamol, APAP or Acetaminophen.

I have been on Acalabrutinib (Calquence) for 6 months; the only side effect I have had is small blood blisters that come and go in the mouth and some spectacular bruising. No intestinal problems, no headaches, no joint pains. The bruising is reducing as my platelet levels are rising from a lowly 35 to 70+. They may eventually, one day, get to "normal" of around 150 but I'm not holding my breath.
