There have been several discussions about tests for antibodies and whether everyone develops resistance after contracting COVID-19.

Thanks Len. Appreciate links! Wondering if those of us with low IgM and Igg have equal chance of creating the antibodies if we get Covid? Has there been any commentary on this?

Hi MonD,

Unfortunately I have heard comments from multiple CLL experts that are variations of We just don't know or We don't have any good data yet. And this applies to multiple different questions including:

-

Will the general population that contracts the virus or the future vaccines provide permanent / lasting immunity like Measles vaccines, MMR etc, or will the immunity be transient like the common Flu or cold viruses?

-

Are CLL patients more likely to contract COVID-19 than others with normal immune systems?

-

Are CLL patient more or less likely to have serious life threatening inflammations of their lungs? (Does Calquence or Ibrutinib reduce the lung inflammation reaction?)

-

Will CLL patients be able to develop immunity / resistance to COVID-19 from contracting the infection or from a future vaccine as compared to the general population?
