Lately having trouble holding things ...

Does have trouble holding things (anything light or heavy) ?

Maybe all in my mind but I have been diagnosed with CLL for 3 years now with a Watch and Wait strategy

Lately (approx within the last 2 months) I have had trouble holding an item and frankly I am getting a bit frustrated over it

Anyone else have this problem and is it related to the CLL or is just another problem related to age breakdown?

Thanks

Richard

Could you explain a little more Richard please.

Do you have any joint problems affecting your hands and causing pain or weakness? This is an issue I have with nodal arthritis in my hands. Does it hurt to hold onto things?

Is it neurological perhaps. Do you somehow think you’re becoming more clumsy for some reason? Any enlarged nodes impacting anywhere? Attention issues?

Not something that is usually directly attributable to CLL but worth mentioning to your doctor if you’re concerned. No reason to be age related as I see you’re only 59 but do have some other medical issues.

Exactly... clumsy is the word

I do have hand pain but that’s the pain still resonates throughout my entire body

I will check with my doctor as it is not normal

Thanks

I notice from a previous post that you were unfortunately experiencing mood swings Richard. I’m wondering if you’re distracted or stressed. It can lead to greater clumsiness and reduced co-ordination.

Best wishes and yes, mention it to your doctor.

Yes to a neurologist. You might want to rule out orthopedic issues as well.
