Weekly Zarzio?

Hi there. because of the WBC drop (I'm on Venetoclax) one oncologist at the hospital recommended 2 weekly shots at one day's distance as opposed to the set of 3. It's the first time I've heard that- what if WBC goes too high- we can't go and have a daily blood test can we? Ha anyone else else been given this advice?

Thanks everyone for being so kind and helpful- I joined yesterday and I'm thrilled!

The dose adjustment process is outlined in the reference Gene supplied in answer to your earlier post. See section 4.2: medicines.org.uk/emc/produc...

You can certainly have daily blood tests if warranted!

Usually the low neutrophils resolve on their own after weeks on Venetoclax, but getting them up with the help of growth factors is a good idea.

Recently had to get a Zarxio boost.

Do you know if Zarxio and Zarzio are the same?

Hope I am one of the usually's.

Zarzio/Zarxio/Filgrastim should be the same or equivalent in effect:

They are biosimilars, so they should be very similar in their activity. Stay strong, Brian CLLSociety.org
