Had medical event on airplane due to irregular heart beat. In hospital in Iceland & diag. With afib. Call to US to my oncl./hemo MD resulted in total removal of Ib. Put on blood thinner. Will get home on 8th and see my MD. Wondering if I will be able to go on reduced dag of Ib?

What great support from your specialist!
I'm on ibrutinib and was hospitalized 6 days for AFib. They had to wait 4 days for the ibrutinib to clear my system (while I went code blue 3 times) before they could treat me with a huge push of amiodarone which brought my heart rate from 190 to 40. Once stabilized and released, I slowly ramped up the ibrutinib to full dose and have an ongoing prescription of metoprolole. It's been 6 months and I'm doing just fine. My cardiologist and CLL specialist coordinated closely throughout the entire ordeal.
