NO amitryptiline while on Imbuverica or Calquence

My regular hemotologist is on vacation and I saw his associate today. He jerked when I said I had been on amitryptiline. He feels it played a role in my bad experience with imbuverica. Please do not take it if you are on imbuverica or calquence.

Its well known to interact with P450 family of enzymes. Certain might figure into ibrutinib, Zydelig (idelalisib) and Calquence (acalabrutinib) problems...

Thanks for the heads-up.. everything needs to be okayed by a CLL specialist, drugs and supplements and some foods.. like grapefruit and a long list of others...

I am glad you followed up and am not surprised since the cardiologist had a problem with it and Imbruvica does have cardio issues for some.
