On w/w. Just had 2 dental crowns fitted and now my eyes do not blink at the same time. Dentist says just unfortunate. Is this cll linked..
Gracious Ysabeau, that’s a new one on me! Do they suspect nerve involvement?
I’m not sure who will be able to advise on this but have you mentioned it to any other medical professional apart from your dentist. Is the dentist saying this can happen and it’s just unfortunate?

Well its been one week now . Everyone (Doc. and Dentist) keeps telling me that it will go eventually. Thank you so much for replying this is a wonderful site. The trouble is everything odd medically that occurs I blame CLL but I suppose that is not always the case.Going to see an eye surgeon if no improvement.Regards Y
Hi, the same thing happened to me a few years ago long, long before diagnosis of cll. I think it's an effect of anaesthetic wearing off, but check with your dentist if worried. It's definitely a weird feeling.
Thank you Autumn. Hopefully it will wear off and it looks so weird. Regards Y
Hi, it was quite a while ago for me, now remember, one eye blinking and the other not. Then the non-blinking eye started blinking, but out of sync. Can't remember exactly but think it was ok the next morning. When I saw dentist the next time he said it was the anaesthetic, not usual, but had a lot of anaesthetic that time. I think it will settle down in a few hours, good luck , remember how weird it felt!!
Yikes 😳 I’ve never heard of this. On the upside people will think you’re very friendly and flirty 😉 I’m sure it’s temporary do to your procedure.

Well the Postman did give me an odd look this morning. My son calls me Chucky and my husband thinks its hilarious. It is a lot better now thank you all but still not in sync completely. Regards Y
