Bruising and itching

I have bruising and itching on the lower right side of my abdomen next to my naval and just under my right nipple of my right breast. It has been like that for about a week and a half. I'm concerned because I have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. It's not painful (except for the itching) and I didn't hit my side to cause any bruising.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. It's a bit hard to say what the likely cause is without more information.

Do you know what your platelet count was at your last blood test? Are you on any medication, particularly something you started just before those symptoms appeared? Do you have any bruising or petechiae (pinhead sized red dots under your skin) elsewhere? It might even be shingles, in which case you should see a doctor ASAP to start on antivirals, but if so, you are getting off lightly.

Hi can u plz post a photo? I’ve had a few skin afflictions and can try to help but u should see a dermatologist or any doc. Have u traveled lately?

For the itching apply cold compress and nothing else. Do u have hair in the area u itch?
