efsa assesses safety of green tea catechins

It's been been noted here before that too much green tea may cause some liver damage. Here is a European study that verifies that. Strangely for me is that I take four capsules of 200 mg EGCG and that is the exact exact amount - 800 mg per day - the study names as the maximum dosage before risk damage becomes too high

Well not too strange - I always did live life right on the edge! (this a.k.a. sarcasm)

For men with prostate or bladder issues, I found as I increased dosage to 1200 mg per day It overstimulated my bladder. I was waking to urinate on the hour to1.5 hours per night. Discontinued, feeling was doing more harm than good for me due to lack of sleep.
