I have been on Imbruvica for 3 years. My flow cytometry reports are down to #1.But i do have mild side effects (respiratory). Dr. J C Byrd has helped to develop 2ND generation BTK inhibitor - Calquence which will be available this year. Let us all hope for newer drugs - they have saved my life !! Without IB ,i was almost gone. So far, CLL is forever, and cannot be cured ! New web site available - CLLsociety.org by a Dr.Koffman.

This is good news. More options is always better. As the saying goes, "a choice of one is no choice at all." With newer generation therapies, we might see a more competitive landscape as well. All good!
