Dexamethasone, any experience, warnings use late stage cll
I was on it for about 3 months, during RCHOP, for brain swelling, and will be soon going on it again...for liver inflamation...
Most annoying side effect for me was hiccups... constantly... for 3 days, then they stopped. Did cause thrush for a few days too...
I get manic episodes, and surges of energy at 3am, so set about scrubbing the kitchen floor with a toothbrush.
It gives me a hair trigger temper, so a 10 count is manditory, before opening your mouth...
I was famished all the time and then had to counter it with more exercise...
There are issues with diabetes...
It effects the bones so VitD3 and calcium may be prescribed, and can cause heartburn, but I didn't have those issues...
Here is a list ..not sure where it came from

I have had three high-dose, four day “pulses” to treat autoimmune hemolytic anemia; had a manic effect followed by a crash (depression and general feeling of illness) for two days after discontinuing.
