May be a silly question but had bloods today and was wondering about the WBC % I have 82% Lymphocytes (27.2) out of WBC 33.2 how high can this percentage be and what is the normal range? Also Basophils 0.3% Had a few minor infections recently which is why I am a little concerned.

Absolutely forget about percentages, they are totally misleading when you have CLL, because the large lymphocyte count dominates.* Instead look at absolute counts (of lymphocytes - CLL tumour burden) and check if neutrophil counts are within the normal range (for reasonable protection against infections).
* If you have a lymphocyte count of 291 say (some of us have higher) and all your other white blood counts are 9, then your lymphocyte percentage is 291/300 or 97%. If your lymphocyte count is 21 and your other white blood cells are still 9, then your lymphocyte percentage is 21/30 or 70%. Because with CLL, our lymphocyte count is generally far out of the normal range, that high lymphocyte count totally messes up normal percentage ranges for other white cell types.

My lymphocyte % is in the high 90s with a WBC in the low 200s still leaves enough white blood cells for normal neuts (2.2).

Check out the CLL Society website for a good explanation of all the markers. And they have an easy to use Excel spreadsheet where you can log and track all your markers.

Check and see if your doctors are setup on a patient portal....mine use MyChart which is great...I can log in anytime, read full test results and even get charts and graphs for all my tests over time...I mean in this day and age of information you might as well make use of it.
