Mouth Ulcers after Chemo

I have seen posts in the past about treatments for mouth ulcers after chemo treatments.

Does anybody recall the where I might find relevant posts and suggestions.

My daugter has just completed 10 weeks chemo for breast cancer and is having a difficult time.

Thanks for any help.

With your post open, look to right of screen column, "Related Posts," if it had been a snake you might have been bitten. : )

I had mouth sores just before and after chemo. I was prescribed “magic mouthwash” which works great. Still use it as needed. I have a tendency to bite my cheeks when I’m chewing something really good and get careless. The label says “high tech” mouthwash.

Check with your Dr(s), but some of us have had successes with just plain Baking Soda (mixed with water - as directed). It also whitens your teeth a bit. Use a very soft, gentle, toothbrush.
