Not sure how wise it would be for us CLL’s to have an implant anywhere however having something like this done, pre any disease, could potentially be a life saver.

If I had had an infectious disease detector implant, My blood sepsis might have been diagnosed early enough to have prevented a high risk 3 week hospitalization. Instead I had daily fevers and chills for almost a month during which time I was examined by two different oncologists who started diagnostics and sent me home. Two days later, I had a high fever, emergency room visit and a two hour ambulance ride to the second oncologist’s hospital. Thanks for sharing!

Oh dear what an ordeal - Plus 2 hours in an ambulance - Sorry to hear this ! And yes agreed early detection can save so many lives and misery and pain and delays - Roll on and out new technology.
