My mom has WBC count more than 250000,how to reduce WBC count ,what happen when the count is high means pls reply

How does she feel? Any CLL symptoms? How are her platelets and hemoglobin, red blood cells? They can fall and can start treatment.
WBC can go very high without problems, mine were 460K recently...
I have friends with counts over 400K who work full time everyday... they still feel OK.

Welcome Sathish and I’m sorry to hear you have this worry about your mum. The first question must be, has your mom been diagnosed with CLL or another blood cancer and which country are you from (knowing the health system you’re using helps tailor advice). As you haven’t restricted your post to the community, don’t give out too much personally identifiable advice however.
I can provide you with a lot of information and reading material on the subject of high WBC’s but it would help first if you could clarify those points otherwise it may not be pertinent to your mom.
If she’s had a CLL diagnosis, when was it made because in terms of her ALC (absolute lymphocyte count), it’s the doubling time rather than the actual number that matters. 250,000 is high but much depends on other factors. How is she? What are her other counts like such as haemoglobin, platelets, neutrophil levels? Does she have bad symptoms?
Please provide more information and people will try to help you.

Sathish, there’s no need to call any of us sir, we are all CLL patients or carers here wanting to help each other.
Are you from India by any chance? What kind of doctor has your mom seen and do you know anything about the condition CLL? Neil has posted the excellent link which contains the information I was referring to but my concern is you may not understand this condition at this moment and I realise it can be very complex.
Are you able to tell us more? Incidentally, it’s a good sign that she doesn’t have any other symptoms. What age is your mom if you don’t mind me asking?

This is a very comprehensive booklet explaining everything about CLL. I realise it doesn’t relate specifically to India and the treatments mentioned may not be so readily available. You can’t easily reduce the WBC without treatment like chemo but it may go up and down dependent on things like infections.

The important thing is to get your mom, (who is very young to have CLL), the best advice you can. It ideally would be a haematologist skilled in blood cancers.
With such a high blood count, her progression needs to be watched to make sure she doesn’t develop other symptoms or other low blood counts.
If she is well and isn’t really tired, having night sweats, losing weight or having lots of infections, she may not need treatment for quite some time.
I appreciate English may not be your first language so it’s difficult for you to explain fully but the important message is to get your mom the best doctor you can who is experienced with this medical condition.

That is when my doctor prescribed Ibrutinib. My WBC was 275 and my lymp nodes were swollen.
