I was diagnosed with enlarged spleen and liver. The spleen is 12.86cm and liver is 15cm .then my GP told me to get complete blood count test and liver function test both of which came out to be normal and everything was in between reference range. But the doctor couldn't tell me the real problem and gave some vitamins. Its been 20 days since the diagnose and I am not feeling any betterment. I got one more blood count test 10 days after diagnose and previous blood test and everything was normal in that as well. I am scared of any kind of Lymphoma or Leukemia, kindly suggest something.

Enlarged spleen and Liver
This site is for people diagnosed with CLL, (chronic lymphocytic Leukaemia) sndpffcl1 and despite your very slightly enlarged spleen and liver, it sounds like your blood results including liver function tests are within normal limits. Believe me, if you had a form of blood cancer, the tests you’ve had would have indicated a problem. Depending on whether you’re male or female and your size, a normal spleen can be 11cm and normal liver width 15cm.
I think you need to explore with your doctor what the origin of the problem may be and it can be anything from infection, mono, alcohol, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus or none of those things! Your repeat blood test isn’t revealing any abnormalities either so it’s highly unlikely to be a form of Leukaemia.
Ask to see a specialist for further exploration and hope you feel better soon. However, this site cannot be used purely to investigate general health questions. Those must be addressed with your physicians.

Hi SND
Newdawn is correct, if you have any form of Lymphoma or Leukemia it would have been picked up immediately
It shows up in a simple blood test,
I wish you well and the Doctors find what is wrong and you are back to 100% health.
