CLL meds

I have lymphoma + CLL & am on both Lyrica for 18 months & Imbruvica for 6 months. Imbruvica seems to be working great. But 2 side effects have been: weight gain of 10kg (22lb) over 18 months, plus recently terrible leg cramps about every hour or so during the night, that I can only stop by getting out of bed & standing. Trouble is I don't know which or both drugs are responsible (I suspect Lyrica), & I wouldn't stop Imbruvica no matter what. Any suggestions? Regards,

You have two lymphomas, CLL and what, Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM) ? They are sometimes seen together.

What is the Lyrica treating FMS? Its an anti-convulsant, I was on it for shingles pain but the side effects were awful... weight gain is a side effect..

Try increasing you water intake and see if your leg cramps subside...its easy to do over a 3or 4 day period.. you might be dehydrated...

If that doesn't work, you should discuss the problem with your doctor... might run a metabolic panel...

Thanks Cllcanada from BSMI Australia. I will try increasing water intake & am seeing my haematologist soon. Also taking magnesium as am told that can help.
