I’m sore

Hi everyone I have got swollen lymph glands under my arms to my breasts, and also under my jaw. My body is also aching I’m starting treatment soon. I’d love to hear from any one with similar things

I was uncomfortable and a bit sore from my enlarged LNs under my arms and neck before I started treatment but it quickly resolved on Ibrutinib.

You said before that you've been offered a trial of Venetoclax which sounds like a fantastic opportunity. I'm pretty sure you're LNs will go down pretty quickly and you'll feel so much better when you start it. Lots of members of this group report very little, if any, side effects and say the treatment has had a dramatic positive effect on their quality of life.

I get itermittent neck swelling and swallowing problems, nmy consultant suggests that i get in touch if it persists beyond 21 days, so far, it has ebbed away on the few occassions it occurs.

Hi 581959, I have 8 enlarged lymph nodes. The biggest is under my left arm. Somedays it feels like my bra is digging in my armpit. You should have relief from treatment. I start Ibrutinib on Tuesday. Hope you find relief soon. Take care.

Hello! I too have large lymph glands under my chin , neck, armpits and groin. I was supposed to start a combo trial if Ibrutinib and Venetoclax a week ago, however a got shingles on my face and chest and my lymph glands are now bigger. Commencement of treatment has been delayed due to the fact I’ve been on anti viral meds. Thankfully the shingles has resolved and I will start treatment on 9 March. Can’t wait to be rid of these lymph nodes!
