Hi Jenny.Welcome! This is a wonderful site, full of knowledgable and caring people. There is a CLLSA meeting in Leeds on 23rd March at which Peter Hillmen is speaking. He is a leading light in CLL research and treatment. I have been to a few of these meetings and it is a good way of meeting fellow CLLers.

You can get the details of the meeting on the CLLSA website. I don't live locally but am going to the meeting so hopefully see you there. Joy

Hi jenny, I am Marc (UK Sparky) I am a CLLSA trustee. Great that you are interested in setting up a local forum. We are trying to support local volunteers and groups who are setting these up. We could advertise at conferences. in the newsletter, raise to members etc. I will not be at Leeds conference but some colleague trustees will be. Please approach Olga or David (trustees) there and we can talk and see how we could help

Hi Jenny,

I see you’ve booked a place at the Leeds meeting. These are great meetings, well worth the time. I may see you there.

There are also local groups run in various locations by Leukaemiacare. I know of one in Manchester based at The Christie but not sure if there’s one based in Leeds.
