Partner has CLL. just starting to progress but unlikely to tolerate treatment as multiple other health issues. Very scared of what is going to happen. 2 weeks to wait before get scan results.

Rosie - where are you. Others here can help you find a specialist. There are many new treatments, some with less side effects than chemo, and different people experience different ones. Your partner needs a specialist who will look at the whole medical picture and treat - adjust treatments - with that in mind. If you give your location you might want to lock your post to community only - click on the v, then edit and scroll to the bottom and change everyone to community only.

Hi Rosie,

Fear is a normal gut reaction when we get the news. Now, it’s time to fight. Find a CLL specialist and you will feel so much more in control. I’m taking 3 Ibrutinib capsules daily and doing great. My life is back to normal and I have energy again. Stay strong. We are always here for you. Sally
