well i just started getting these red flat dots on my arm during school.so is this anything serious?Some are lighter some are darker.

Most probably petechia if they are not raised or itchy. If they are you should check with you medical contact.

You say during school. Do they fade at other times?
You really should get them examined by a doctor for peace of mind. If they are petechiae and you have more than a few, it can indicate problems with your platelets, which should be investigated.

No their still their and this is 1st time its happened.
See your doctor. Seeking medical advice online is fraught with danger - as is trying to diagnose yourself. There's probably a perfectly benign reason for why those spots have appeared - it could be as simple as due to a change of medication. Your doctor has the training and experience to best advise you...
