CLL confrence

Thank you letting the community know about this confrence in the north east. I spoke to my nurse specialist and she is securing me a place as we speak. Look forward to meeting fellow cll'rs.

What can you tell us about it Ann? I don't have a specialist nurse. In fact I'm not even sure my haematology unit has one but I'm not in your area.

I know it's at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland but when and who is attending/speaking? Glad you managed to get a place.

Hi Newdawn as soon as I get information on e mail from my nurse specialist I will let you know. All i know so far is it is at Stadium of Light on Friday. The nurse is e mailing the programme and organisers sending me tickets. I believe there are places left so I will let you know asap.

Hi Newdawn still no e mail from nurses yet. I have left a message for them and contacted stadium of light. The conference is on on Friday. The only information they could provide was it starts at 9.15am and finished around 5pm. I have explained the situation and left my telephone numbers for the organisers to contact me. The specialist nurses get very busy so thought it wise to be proactive. I will keep you informed. Hope to see you there all being well.

Don't worry Ann, I couldn't make it now at this notice anyway. I was looking at the haematological conference there last year and that wasn't CLL or even leukaemia specific but not sure about this one.

Hi Newdawn at least part of the conference is CLL related. I will keep the community posted about how it goes. Sorry I won't get to meet yoi.

Yes please feedback Ann. I’m sorry I won’t get to meet you too but it’s not easy for me getting to these things with having caring responsibilities.

One of these days they’ll be a CLLSA conference in this area with any luck!

Hi Newdawn sorry you can not make it just called stadium of light again spoke to a very helpful member of staff who informs me there is a room allocated to CLL so will let you know the outcome.
