Can you tell us more SouthFloridalady ?

These may not apply to those of us in the U.K. and other countries, but interested in what you found helpful, as they are downloadable, and how you are doing.

Best wishes

Hi SouthFloridalady

Thank you for sharing your choices and for the sprinkles :-) . Day and night sweats are no fun, although I wake in the night to cool off I have not experienced the dreaded night sweats. So far other than the normal tiredness cll is not too bad, I was buoyed up that so far my OC is being kept at bay.

The hardest is caring about my partner and the side effects he suffers from his prostate cancer treatment, that pulls me down more than anything. He had foot massage therapy just after diagnosis and I am sure it helped him to come to terms with his cancer as he was able to relax and talk to the therapist. So I am a fan of therapies and counsellors, he was helped by one I know.

Also I am concerned about the friends I have made in this community, it's surprising how we think so much of others we have cyber met through our CLL journey. Some truly lovely people here who balance out the bad we read about.

I never stop thinking how lucky I am despite everything, going through chemo you see so many people so much worse off than yourself, a reality check for sure.

Take care, best wishes,

Bubnjay1

LLS.org also has a CLL specific booklet and others that might be helpful for specific situations. They can be read on line as well as downloaded, so you can always preview them and download only what you want to keep.
