Diagnosis with CLL in 2013

Just learned yesterday I was 6.2 on my AC1 test. Not to good.

But won't let it get me down. Just time to get busy on lowering it.

That's not bad at all for your Hba1c glucose test Cham. Equates to 44 which is pre-diabetic range.

I'm just off to get mine done ironically enough and would be pleased with a 44 but appreciate lower is better.

Oh it was 40 Cham which I was delighted about. As 41 is pre-diabetic range, I was pleased to be below that figure.

However it's been an uphill battle this week keeping the BG's low because infection drives them up and as I'm not on medication, little can be done about that.

Were you disappointed because yours had gone up since last time because 44 is usually seen to be an excellent result and if you were type 1, you'd be getting a lecture about being too low!

No they gave me a machine to check my sugar and what ranges to what out for. They are all over the place.

Working out 5 days a week, which is a must. Have to get my weight down to 192 @ 205 right now.

Very happy yours were low. Keep up the good fight.
