Advice re hospitals in Liverpool area.

Hi,  I would like some advice please.

At my last consultation my blood count was Haemoglobin 111 g/l WBC 83, Lymphocytes 76 platelets 97 LDH normal. My spleen measures 2cm below the costal margin.

I am moving from Medway in Kent to Liverpool or maybe The Wirral. How easy is it to register with a GP there and what hospitals would those of you from the area recommend. Is there anything I should be aware of or questions I should ask when making a choice?

Keep up the good work of advice and support.

Many Thanks.

Hi Paidraigin

Cannot help re your question on doctors etc as do not live in this area, but I noted this is your first post so wanted to say welcome.

Good luck with the move and with finding your new team.

Best wishes.

hi paidraigin

I beleive i have read previously that The Royal Hospital in Liverpool has a good consultant there I think his name is Andrew Pettit?  - im sure someone on the forum could confirm that but unfortunately i cannot shed any light on GPs. i would guess that your options would depend on where you will actially move to.

good luck with your move and search for Health care
