Do you mean: viralnovelty.net/study-show... ?

And here's the 2013 Molecular Cancer paper that was behind the above article:

6-Shogaol induces apoptosis in human leukemia cells through a process involving caspase-mediated cleavage of eIF2α

molecular-cancer.biomedcent...

The in vitro and in vivo testing referred to in the article was done on HL-60 and U937 leukaemic Cell Lines. Per the reference below, HL-60 was isolated from the peripheral blood of a patient with acute promyelocytic leukemia and U937 originated from the pleural fluid of a patient with diffuse histiocytic lymphoma. So this ginger extract is yet to be tested on CLL cells in either vitro or in vivo...

So unfortunately it is too soon to know if ginger will do anything for CLL and even if it does, we don't know how much to take for it to have any effect.

If anyone wants to try ginger to slow their CLL progression, then please read Newdawn's comments in her reply to this post: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...

You should also inform your doctor and specialist so they will hopefully also keep an eye out for any adverse side effects and keep an eye on your liver function tests to ensure you are not stressing your liver. I found that high doses of green tea caused my ALT and AST liver function tests to spike (ALT tripled to nearly double the normal upper limit and AST just reached the upper limit). I reduced my dose in discussion with my haematologist and am still taking it 6 years later and hope it has slowed my CLL progression.

Link didn't work for me. I add much ginger to my food though it can slightly thin the blood.
