Here are the questions - and no cheating before you answer the poll!
1) I have familiarised myself with HealthUnlocked's Privacy Statement
2) I know how to change my post from viewable by 'Everyone' to 'This Community only' if someone requests it.
3) I've used Site Search
4) I know I should only use Private Messaging for sharing my contact information and not disclose it in posts or replies
5) I know how to find another member
6) I know how to send a Private Message
7) I know that I can change my username, but only twice
8) I have familiarised myself with HealthUnlocked's Community Guidelines
A couple of members have already mentioned that they don't know how to find other members - question (5). The easiest way to contact another member is of course to click on their name by their post or reply. If a post or reply isn't handy, you'll need to enter the community the member you want to contact belongs to, i.e. healthunlocked.com/cllsupport for this community. You can do that by selecting on 'My Communities' in the Green menu bar and then selecting the relevant community.
On the right hand side of the page, under the Latest Poll, you'll see 'Newest Members Find members >'. Click on 'Find members'. Type part of the member's name in the box where it says 'Find a member'. You can type any part of their username and you don't have to get the capitalisation right. Not all matches may be displayed, so if you get a full page of matches and can't find who you are after, type a bit more of their username. Check the 'Found Members' box on the right for how many matches you have.
When you've found the member you are looking for, just select their name. You can now chose to follow them, send them a Private Message, read their profile, check their posts and replies and so on.

Good to see that voters are honest about saying they haven't read the HU privacy statement or Community Guidelines.
Both statements (links provided below) can also be found on the bottom of each site page (though it might take a while to get there on those with the 'More' function!).
While we are at it, you might like to read the Community Terms and Conditions/Terms of Engagement for Affiliates. These apply to the relationship between HealthUnlocked and the CLL Support Association:
You now know that you are able to change your username to improve your personal security (namely by making it harder for someone to identify you off-line). The post 'Online Security starts with you!' contains more tips on how to preserve your online security:healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...
Working through the answers to our Quiz poll, know you know that you should only share your contact information via a Private Message, you can find how to send and read Private Messages here:
With respect to question 2, the default setting when you submit a question is open/unlocked - hence the site's name 'HealthUnlocked'. After all that's how this site attracts members who find useful information previously contributed by our members from an Internet search on CLL related issues, then decide to join. If you post and leave the default at viewable by 'Everyone' , you may see someone reply, offering to share more if you edit your post to 'This Community only'.
This community now has over 32,000 submissions from fellow members with CLL, so you are highly likely to find answers to all common questions and many uncommon ones simply by using the HU site search on the right of the green menu bar. To return results preferentially from our community, include cllsupport in your search words.
Unfortunately one of the frustratingly long standing bugs in HU is that the search results aren't returned in date or relevance order. There was a work-around of simply adding “/sort/date” or “/sort/relevance” into the search field, but frustratingly that hasn't worked for a while either . You should still have a good chance of finding previous discussions of relevance if you use search (and you just might save yourself the embarrassment of asking the exact same question asked just days ago...
