Sorry, I can't find the answer in the Help section, but if you post in an older thread, does the thread then bump into a newer date?

erpull, Posts and questions on this site can't be archived or made read only, so you can reply to a very old post or question. That bumps the last active date, which is used to determine what is shown in News feed.
