Can anyone provide any feedback on the use of LENALIDOMIDE for CLL?

Lenalidomide is not an FDA approved therapy for CLL.

It has been in clinical trial since the mid 2000's, but has never seemed to get to the approval stage in CLL.

There are CLL patients on lenalidomide and many do quite well. Clinical trials are ongoing...

Just wanted to let the community know, my husband was on a Lenalidomide trial this year. Unfortunately, the drug (dr believes) negatively impacted on his bone marrow and he has had to cease taking the drug. He took the drug for three weeks initially. Due to side effects (possibly from Lenalidomide) stopped for a couple of months; then tried again on half dose for four weeks; then off again; and then finally decision that it was not for him. It was great to have an opportunity to participate in the trial.
