Hi - please, does anyone know where I can go privately to be checked for familial hypercholesterolemia?

First go to GP for cholesterol test, depending on the LIPID number your GP can do a referral!

Thank you. I did, but there is a point scoring method to get beyone the GP and I was one point down so not enough for a referral sadly.

Heart UK was long before cholesterol support. There is a phone number to discuss FH testing.

Heart UK was helping people with cholesterol, promoting statin, Heart UK, used to have yearly 2-day conference. The problem was Heart UK was promoting statin and many members did not like it therefore Heart UK gave up and Cholesterol support was implemented.

Like NHS protocol ,Heart UK had their protocol.
