For off topic Friday

I call this "Emma", because "Sheep" sounds so prosaic.

I am painting to keep myself preoccupied and from under Jacqui's feet. I have an appointment with the oncologist next Tuesday to discuss how my treatment should move forward. Meanwhile, the ache in my pelvis continues to nag. Hence Emma's glum expression.

So, today's task is to find another subject to paint.

Emma’s lovely and the colours are beautiful 😍 With all the spring flowers coming up and wildlife waking up you’ll soon find plenty to keep you occupied and take your mind off that nagging ache . I hope you get some good news on Tuesday 🤞😊

I went to work today. I then took Milo on a longish walk. On Monday morning I am hoping to see if I can find a tea room and a bookshop. This is a quiet weekend.

Yeah. We had a garden picnic breakfast today. Then I went to two different local garden centres in order to look at the plants and books, and then went to a cafe at one for some lunch. I ordered a chocolate cupcake and a glass of white wine for lunch. I even went and did some food shopping this afternoon.

Hey Brent, first thing came to my mind was Ewe? Tree/sheep/you. How’d you get on with oncologist? Did you get another subject from the visit??

Hi Lell1

I am continuing on the medication I have been on for the past 4 years. It is, I am told, about 80% effective. But I am to have a CT scan shortly to see how the tumour on my pelvis is behaving. It continues to ache. But is that a post radiation effect?

No matter, the PSA concentration in my blood continues to rise, so a change in treatment is not far off. That's as much as I can tell you for now. But thank ewe for asking.

I shall be back to painting shortly. Meanwhile, please enjoy my Welsh spring.
